Our Story

Farm to Main Street

At Hudson Valley Jane, we’ve launched a cannabis-oriented evolution of the farm-to-table movement that we call “Farm to Main Street.” And that’s not just because our boutique cannabis dispensary in Beacon, N.Y., is on Main Street. (But it helps.)

Started by two native New Yorkers, Hudson Valley Jane was awarded the 50th cannabis micro-business license in New York State, and we’re proud of that. It means that, from our small farm in the Hudson Valley to the products in our farm-inspired Beacon store, we have complete control of our supply chain—from growing and processing to packaging to selling.

Our brand of seed-to-sale transparency is labor-intensive, and, with a history of legacy growing ourselves, that’s the only method that makes sense. We engage in small-batch handcrafting that starts with careful strain curation and planting and continues with a keen eye on cultivation. Whether removing excess stems and leaves or hand-trimming buds, we have real people working with our plants—and exchanging vital CO2 and O2—all the time.

By the time our cannabis products get to you, we feel good that you can feel good about what you’re consuming.

Our Farm

Eco-conscious from A to zaza

The Hudson Valley Jane farm is the true seed of our farm-to-Main ethos. Just 90 miles north of New York City, our 150-acre spread is dedicated to sustainability and the art of true craft cannabis. When our co-founder Stacey bought the land back in 2020, her goal was to return to farming. She soon discovered her friend and go-to contractor, Ben, was also a long-time legacy grower. And, voila, one master vision later, here we are, growing good, honest cannabis year-round.

Our state-of-the-art greenhouse is, well, dope. Considering Stacey and Ben both come from deep construction backgrounds, no detail was too small. It’s fully climate-controlled and spans 14,000 square feet, including 5,000 square feet of flowering canopy and dedicated space for early plant growth. Built with intention and expertise, it’s a cultivator’s dream—designed to harness the power of the earth and the energy of the sun for year-round growth.

Natural High, meet high Technology

Our sustainable tech runs deep—literally. Subterranean geothermal loops tap into the earth’s steady temperature to heat and cool the greenhouse. Rainwater is collected from the roof and reused, and radiant-heated floors reduce the need for energy-hungry dehumidifiers. Sunlight does most of the work, with LEDs used only when needed.

A high-tech greenhouse means nothing without high-quality cannabis. Through extensive R&D—including one-on-one strain summits with legacy growers—we collect only the best genetics. Each strain is grown in test batches to find the highest-quality expression.

Our business may be micro, but our seed bank is macro. With new crops every two and a half weeks, we can offer rare, exotic strains while keeping fan favorites in steady rotation.

Where sustainability and community merge

Our farm isn’t just for growing standout small-batch cannabis—it’s also where we connect with the surrounding New York community. We offer hands-on experience to local college students in cannabis programs and, through our soil-reuse initiative, donate farm-grown fruits and vegetables to nearby food pantries.

Meet us on Main

At Hudson Valley Jane, we designed our Beacon boutique to feel welcoming to all—whether you’re canna-curious, learning your CBDs, or a seasoned connoisseur chasing legendary strains.

Located across from Fishkill Overlook Falls, our dispensary brings the farm to Main Street in a timeless red brick building, styled like a cozy country farm stand with reclaimed wood, corrugated metal, and lo-fi string lights.

We’re a New York brand through and through—rooted in local values, committed to community, and proud to grow and sell here. It’s more than a shop—it’s a community hub where we host events, launch new products, and offer cannabis education.
